I ordered this watch band because I really liked the simplicity and the style. Most other wide leather cuff watch bands are very decorated with many buckles and rivets, it was quite a task to find a design as simple as this. Ordering was very easy, shipping to Europe was no problem, and payment was no hassle. Customer service was great, emails were being answered reliably, communication was friendly, clear and precise. The timing was exactly as announced, I was being notified about every stage in the process in great detail, shipping was surprisingly fast.
Reviewing the product itself is less easy than talking about the customer service because I am no expert when it comes to leather. I have no idea which quirks have to be expected when buying leather, which the indicators for a quality piece are. Anyway, I like this cuff watch band very much, I am very satisfied. It is tough, the leather is thick and substantial. It is definitely not a fashion item (although it is fashionable), it feels just much more solid, I expect this to last longer than most fashion trends last. At the same time this does not feel like dressing up as biker, goth or fetish gay. It is actually quite casual. What looks like stitching along the edges of the cuff at first sight is actually embossed, there is no sewing thread. Which is also just as well, I do prefer the embossed decoration to an actually stitched decoration.
The fit is perfect, measuring my wrist accurately did make sense. I guess it's normal for a leather cuff that it's almost too tight at first and then stretches to it's fit, like shoes do. The only leather items that I owned before are indeed leather shoes, and they take some time to adapt to my feet, so I guess the same applies to a leather cuff. This watch cuff comes in quite a stiff leather, it's not something you put on and feel comfortable from the first second on. But now wearing this every day it becomes more and more comfortable.
Luckily, the buckle is also really tough and substantial, It's not made from bent wire, but from cast metal. So putting it on the wrist very tightly is no problem, I don't have to be afraid of bending or breaking the buckle. The buckle is great but there is a slight danger of damaging things with the buckle. The leather of the cuff and the buckle together easily add up to more than a centimeter in height. When using my notebook computer I have to think about where to place my left hand so I don't accidentally scratch the case surface of the computer with the buckle.
One thing was quite tricky: the stiff and thick leather made it really complicated to attach my watch to the cuff. Seriously, I wrecked a set of those little pins which hold the strap on the watch. Maybe somebody with more experience in both – leather and watches – would have had less trouble, it was quite a hassle for me. Future buyers of the product shall be advised to take some time in softening the leather before fitting a watch to it, and before lacing the strap through the buckle. Since I am not experienced in leather products I was quite surprised by the black dye staining my shirt. Some excess black color dye came off the cuff at first. This is really no big deal, and I guess it's quite common for leather products to leak some color at first.
Overall I am really happy and really satisfied. It's a great piece. Customer service, communication, payment and shipping was easy and done in a breeze. And my watch looks really cool now.

I really wanted something special for my fiancee for our wedding. I originally had chosen to go with a Fossil watch, but when I looked at the prices, I thought, "This isn't going to work." I got a beautifully handmade leather watch with face for $40 and free shipping, when Fossil wanted about $125 not including the shipping. The gentleman even wrapped it in a beautiful giftbox for our special day. I couldn't have been more pleased. I will be shopping here again.
